There’s nothing bigger in competition BBQ than winning the World Championship at Memphis in May. Unless it’s winning Memphis in May cooking Whole Hogs, Hot & Fast. On Episode 162 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Podcast, we review the groundbreaking championship that Tim Scheer, Brad Leighninger and Team Blues Hog achieved over the weekend doing it in their own remarkable “Grip It and Rip It” style on special-made Gateway “Megatronn 550” drum smokers. Tim and and Brad discuss the remarkable day which had a rollercoaster of emotions.
