Seven weeks ago, if you had told Brad Leighninger he would win KCBS Team of the Year honors, what would his answer have been? “You’re crazy.” Or something to that effect.
On Episode 90 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show Podcast, Brad tells us about his improbable and downright historic stretch drive that propelled Gettin’ Basted to its second Team of the Year championship in three years. Brad discusses what it was like cooking in three time zones this fall and if it was jubilation or relief when he edged out Joe Pearce and Slaps BBQ by a mere two points.
