On Episode 184 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Podcast, we visit with one of the nation’s hottest pitmasters. Chris Webb and Bushmaster BBQ out of Colorado finished as Reserve Grand Champion at the American Royal World Series of BBQ Invitational and followed that up with a Grand Championship last weekend in Casper, Wyoming. We visit with Chris about his outstanding 2022 season, how the U.S. Army vet got into competition BBQ and his role with one of America’s fastest-growing BBQ brands, Proud Souls Barbecue & Provisions.
Then it’s time for the October edition of “Arkassippi Alley” with one of America’s top competition steak cooks, John Lindsey of Arkansas’ All Q’ued Up. John has cooked more than 80 SCA events already with more on the way and, in between, is filming all varieties of open-fire cooking recipe videos and working with partner Ronald Burns to expand the line of Arkassippi Combo rubs.
