After traveling America and cooking almost every weekend last year, the cancellation of contests has made for a difficult adjustment for Matt Walker of reigning KCBS Team of the Year Boomerang BBQ. We catch up with Matt on Episode 64 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show Podcast and he tells us what he’s doing on weekends. We also visit with “The Burger Chef” Michael Dampier from one of America’s oldest restaurant/bars, The Ohio Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He tells us about devastating the COVID-19 shutdown has been to a tourist-driven city like Hot Springs. On a brighter note, Michael also is a food sport judge and competitor. He recently earned his golden ticket to represent Arkansas in the burger division of the World Food Championship this November.
